Family Workplace
Not only does PVE value the relationships we have with our dealers, but we value the relationships and culture we have built within the company. Pictured above showcases the family atmosphere and generations at PVE.
In 1984, Levi Miller started the company by building a homemade track press to service other people's equipment and undercarriage needs, and Paint Valley Equipment was born. His son Lee Miller, has continued to evolve and grow Paint Valley Equipment. Now his daughter, Whitney, works for the company as a Dealer Account Specialist. Whitney talks about what it means to be part of the family business “In a family business, you aren’t just working for a corporation, you’re working to carry on a family tradition and contribute to the family legacy. That is something I take a lot of pride in. Working in the family business for the last few years has given me the opportunity to wear many different hats. That has given me the chance to understand how things are managed here and the value of each individual on our team, including the customers to achieve a shared vision”.
The father and son combo, Mark and Colten Hostetler, are both a part of the Dealer Support Team. Mark has been with PVE since 2005 and his son Colten recently joined us in August of 2020. Colton explained what has been the best part about working with his dad the past couple of months “I think my favorite part of working with dad is seeing the impact he has made on the company over the last 15+ years. You can see it in our dealers, and you can see it most importantly in the culture of PVE. He is genuinely invested in all the people here and wants to see the people grow just as much as the company. I am trying to be a sponge and learn as much as I can from him. He always puts everyone else first, and I try to do that in my life as well”.
Joe, Martha, and Kyle Wengerd are another family generational part of PVE. Joe is a part of our Dealer Support Team, Martha is a part-time receptionist and Kyle is a member of the shipping department. The Wengerd family not only brings a family atmosphere to PVE, but also many vital skills and qualities PVE strives for.
